News Updates At Wheatfield Family Dentistry
Grand (Re-Opening) Open House
Thursday, August 10th from 2-6pm
The dust has settled, and our new addition is now in full swing. We are pleased to expand our services and show off just a little during our open house on Thursday, August 10th from 2-6pm.
Come in for a tour, meet our newly expanded staff, enjoy refreshments, and best of all, see our new I-Tero Element scanner in action.
We will be offering free I-Tero scanning for those interested in Invisalign Orthodontics during the open house. The new scanner takes a digital model in less than 3 minutes that can be used to create a treatment plan for “invisible braces”. Both teens and adults interested in Invisalign treatment should come and get scanned. A follow up appointment will allow us to present a plan for your best smile options.
Meet the dentists, hygienists, assistants and massage therapists who make Wheatfield Family Dentistry your best choice for optimal dental care and massage therapy.

The New Location
The wait is over. We have finally moved into our beautiful state-of-the-art, new home at 3349 Niagara Falls Blvd. North Tonawanda, NY 14120. Conveniently located only a half of a mile north of our old office, and next to the Niagara Gun Range.
This is an invitation to old friends and new to come and see our beautiful new office. Our goal is to provide a welcoming, calming spa-like atmosphere. The soothing trickle of the waterfall will melt your dental anxiety and Dr. Casacci will then be able to meet your dental needs.
Dr. Casacci has been taking a lot of continuing education lately and apologizes for any inconveniences that have occurred due to rescheduling. Continuing education is required by New York State Health Department for all licensed professionals. The dental board requires 45 hours every three years. This is considered the absolute minimum.
CE – WHAT’S THAT?
Courses taken by Dentists are referred to as CE. Recent Continuing Education topics Dr. Casacci has attended include courses on implants and aesthetics, occlusion and TMJ, perio and orthodontics and CPR, ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) Intravenous sedation training and Botox and dermal fillers. Dr. Casacci was awarded the prestigious Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in June of 2012. There is only one other dentist in WNY to achieve this level of recognition by the Academy. She has attended more than 1200 hours of advanced quality education in all disciplines with over 700 hours in hands on courses and taken a rigorous exam to receive this distinction.
In January of 2009 Dr. Casacci finished Level 4 Bioesthetic Dentistry Training . There are less than 300 dentists world wide with that distinction and she is the only one in Western New York. Bioesthetic Dentists treat Headaches, grinding, tooth wear , and provide beautiful full mouth reconstruction of the Dental system.
Dr. Casacci has finished a 1 year implant dentistry maxi-course in June of 2011. She passed the fellowship written exam and will complete part 2 case presentation and oral defense for her fellowship credentialing in May of 2013. After passing part 2, she will become an Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in October of 2013.
Dr. Casacci completed over 3,000 hours of CE to date. A majority of these courses were advanced levels in Orthodontics, Implants Endodontics (root canals) and Esthetics. She has completed 10 of the required 12, part II Aesthetic courses at SUNY Buffalo needed for certification. This training course has taken approximately 2 years to complete. She has traveled extensively in the US, Canada and Europe to receive the best training available to provide the best care for her patients. We at Wheatfield Family Dentistry believe in providing our patients with the most up to date procedures available.
