Payment for visits to the office

PAYMENTS/INSURANCE/FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS

Payment for visits to the office is due on the date of service. In the event it becomes necessary to send the patient a bill for payment not received on the date of service, a $5.00 billing fee will be added each month the balance is outstanding. If you are an insured patient, we will make every effort to verify your insurance coverage prior to your first visit. We will process your insurance forms with any needed information and mail them for you.

We currently participate with Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Concordia, CIGNA, and Guardian Insurance Company. Co-pays are due on the date of service. Insurance payments for GHI Plans are mailed directly to the patient. For those who have these insurances, payment usually arrives in about 2 weeks. Our fee, however, is due from you on the date of service. All payments are due at the time of service unless prior arrangements are made with our financial secretary.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, personal checks and cash. Health Care Creditline and CareCredit are several Dental Credit cards we can help you apply for. LendingClub financing can help you finance your treatment (click on the logo below). In the event a check is returned for non-sufficient funds, a charge will be placed on the patients account. Thereafter, the patient will need to pay for his/her service with cash or credit card for the next six months.


“No Insurance, No Problem ” Dental Health Club

Many dental patients have difficulty affording dental care and avoid preventative procedures due to lack of insurance. Regular cleanings, exams, and cavity detecting x-rays let us find dental problems when they are manageable and small, making dental work less expensive in the long run.

Wheatfield Family Dentistry is excited to offer our uninsured patients the opportunity to sign up for a “no insurance, no problem” dental health plan. This plan will allow participating patients:

  • 2 regular prophylaxis (dental cleaning)

 

  • 2 periodic exams

 

  • 15% off our regular fees for any other dental work that is needed. There is no limit on savings you are eligible for in a plan year.

 

There are exceptions: orthodontic work including invisalign, retainers, traditional braces and repairs are not included.  It does not include already discounted procedures and specials that we advertise (summer sealant specials, bleaching specials, dental health month discounts etc.)

$199 per family member (14 and under)

BREACH OF FINANCIAL AGREEMENT/DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS

At Wheatfield Family Dentistry, we  provide high quality dental services, in good faith of payment, to our patients. Any account over 120 days past due, without financial arrangements, will be sent to a collection agency which may affect the patients ability to receive future credit. If you are having difficulty paying your bill, please contact our office. We can work something out.
